Dr. Nan Jiang has more than 18 years of education and practice experience in both Ophthalmology and Optometry. Dr. Jiang graduated from Tong Ji Medical University after five years of study and training in clinical medicine. She then continued her study and internship in Ophthalmology at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center - Zhang Shan Medical University for three years. She came to Canada and continued her study and training in Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 2002, and graduated with very high academic records and awards in 2006.
Dr. Jiang is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and is a certified optometrist for the treatment of ocular diseases. In addition to general optometry, Dr. Jiang also specializes in Orthokeratology (OK lenses) treatment, which helps kids to the slow down myopia progression and allows them to enjoy good vision in the day without any correction. She helps patients from all backgrounds, providing not only vision care but also the management of ocular medical issues, such as eye infections, inflammation, dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
